Olgaleija is peacefully going about doing the tasks of her daily life.
She notices the bald eagle flying overhead as she is driving into town to do her errands. A rabbit hops
across her path on the dirt road leading back home. A leaf appears in the air, seemingly out of nowhere, and
gently flutters to land at her feet. “Are the spirit worlds trying to get my attention?” she wonders. Her
question is immediately rewarded with a deep yearning for the unconditional love and humourful perspective of
the non ordinary reality.
Thus it is that Olgaleija organizes herself to do the shamanic journey
that will take her there, intending simply to visit and accept any spirit messages that are presented to
her.
Olgaleija arrives in the lower world to a place she has never seen
before. It is a little patch of sand and grass in the midst of what could be thick, tangled young growth
forest. When she asks for a guide, Hummingbird comes but he simply greets her and backs away. Then, what
appears as a ray of sun through clouds illuminates the ground before her and into this circle of light there
arrives a beautiful young woman, who laughs and takes her hands and twirls her around in circles. Before
Olgaleija can recover from this unexpectedly delightful greeting, she finds herself in her car of all
unexpected things in spirit worlds, driving back up the sunray portal and out into space with her new
companion in the seat beside her.
Olgaleija feels somewhat perturbed by this turn of events; how does
one drive a car in space! But her companion seems to be enjoying herself immensely, and they appear to be
floating along harmlessly, so Olgaleija relaxes and lets herself respond to the loving presence of the giggly
girlish being beside her.
In the nature of events in the spirit worlds, they arrive at a dome
tent that seems to be hovering over a wilderness such as Olgaleija is familiar with in earth plane. Olgaleija
is finally understanding what is happening; she is having a sleepover in a tent with her Star Sister. This is
exciting!
Once they have settled into the glowing tent, Star Sister tells her
stories about her Star people family. She weaves images of their wise and loving mother, of how her energy
ever supports and encourages her children. Olgaleija feels herself cuddled in her Star Mother's embrace for
awhile; totally safe, unconditionally accepted and loved.
And then Star Sister starts asking questions about Olgaleija's life in
the earth plane. Olgaleija starts telling stories and they giggle and laugh about all the silly things. When
the stories tell about the racoons and porcupines and squirrels and birds that live on her land, the spirit
beings of these animals come into the tent to visit. This just enhances the girl's
enjoyment.
Eventually, Olgaleija is absorbed in the memories of one of the
stories she is telling, so much so, that she misses the moment when Star Sister falls asleep in the tent
beside her.
When Olgaleija realizes she has lost her audience, that there is no
one hearing her anymore, she falls silent. She experiences a brief moment of disappointment, that her story
was so boring, it put Star Sister to sleep, synchronistically as she appreciates how stories used to put her
children to sleep when they resisted sleep, so she chuckles to herself and experiences the love she felt for
her children, towards her Star Sister.
Olgaleija lies awake for a long time, reflecting on her adventure. She
feels sated and satisfied and full of wonder at this turn of events in the amazing Creation she is living
in.
